Thomas Brüggen

Born 1962, studied education and military history at the Bundeswehr University in Hamburg and at the University of Hamburg as well as law at the University of Bonn. After twelve years of service with the armoured and anti-tank forces, Thomas Brüggen left the Bundeswehr in 1993 and today works as a freelance real estate manager. He collects firearms from the First World War period and is deeply interested in military procurement processes and production methods during the First World War. He is a member of the German Society for Military Studies and publishes in the Journal of Military Studies.
