Roger Lothaire

(*1957). He is a retired Colonel (brevet staff officer), a former officer of the Artillery School and a professor at the Royal Superior Defense Institute. During his military career he accumulated extensive historical, operational and technical experience in the field of artillery, which he has shared with the administrators of the collections of the Royal Military and Military History Museum. Creator with two other authors of the Éditions du Patrimoine Militaire, he has published numerous reference works on heavy artillery, field artillery, and trench artillery of the Belgian Army during the two world conflicts.
