Pavel Car

was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1959. He studied computer science and after obtaining his University Degree he was employed in various multinational IT corporations; for the last ten years he has been posted in various high level managerial positions. In this period he also studied management in England and attained a masters degree in that area. Recently he has worked as an independent consultant for the management of larger companies. He has been actively collecting and studying decorations since he was 18. He is especially interested in the countries of Former Yugoslavia and Austria-Hungary. He has recently also started collecting and studying uniforms. He has published some articles in Slovenian and Serbian professional magazines on the subject of faleristic, but this book is the fulfilment of his many years of collecting.
