Laurent Mirouze

Born in 1964, since studying law and journalism he has collaborated regularly with magazines specialising in questions of French Army uniforms and weaponry from the Second Empire to the war of 1914-18. He is the author of two works on the infantry of the different belligerants of the First and Second World Wars, translated into four languages. With VERLAG MILITARIA he has published two works dedicated to the French Army in the First World War in collaboration with the Musée de l’Armée de Paris, which ensured its technical accuracy. These books, among the most comprehensive written about the uniforms and equipments of the French Army of this period, have become indispensible reference works. A consultant for films, television, editors, auction houses, theme parks and historical museums, private as well as national, Laurent Mirouze lives in the Loire Valley in France.
