Ilse Bogaerts

(*1965) studied History of Art and graduated in Textiles and Fashion. She further attended an internship in Textile Restoration at the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage. She started her career as head of the textile department of the Costume and Lace Museum in Antwerp. Since 2001 she has been responsible for the collection of uniforms of the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History.
