Born in Vienna in 1964. Studies in history and political science at the University of Vienna and Georgetown University, Washington D.C. Mag. phil. 1987. Dr. 1991. Active in the Austrian federal administration since 1992, currently head of the state news service department, Ministerialrat. Numerous publications and articles on 19th and 20th century history. Executive director of the Karl von Vogelsang Institute for Research into the History of Christian Democracy in Austria.
