Dr. Frank Wernitz

born in 1957, studied communications science as well as modern and contemporary history, Eastern and South Eastern European history and political science. In 1993 completed doctorate to Dr.phil. in Munich with a work on the history of guerrilla warfare in the 18th century. Oberstleutnant of the Reserve. Since 2000 head of the central HR dept. for all state museums and collections in Bavaria. Since May 2012 Chairman of the German Gesellschaft für Heereskunde e.V.
